Dental Choices Are Up to You!

Dental ConsultationDental care has progressed to where we can now offer you a veritable smorgasbord of choices, a buffet of beautiful smiles. New materials and techniques allow us to treat your teeth more conservatively than ever, and decades of research have gone into developing materials—ceramics, polymer compounds, resin compounds and more—to repair worn, damaged or missing teeth.

Unlike your father’s dentist, we now have several effective ways to treat a toothache. The same is true of cosmetic issues like whitening and straightening and health problems such as gum disease.

Once we’ve diagnosed the problem, we’ll tell you what your choices are, and we’ll be delighted to explain the differences among them. Several factors affect the durability, cost, and performance of dental restorations, for example, including your general and oral health, the type and location of the tooth to be restored (and how much chewing it will have to do), the material used, and the number of visits needed.

When making our recommendations, we’ll consider your personal health history and even the state of the economy. Then we’ll treat you with the same care and skill as if you were our own family.
