Our Infection Control Program

Putting On A Surgical GloveVisitors to our practice have probably noticed the efforts we put into making the office open and comfortable. Well, it’s not just cosmetic. We’re doing something about protecting your health.

We consulted with experts in the field of asepsis—sterilization. Our aim was to find the best that technology has to offer to keep the practice safe for our patients. And we did. Today we meet—and exceed—the infection control standards of the American Dental Association and Center for Disease Control.

Often these rigid protocols are familiar: masks, gloves, and eye protectors. And you can’t help but notice all our “protective barriers”—plastic coverings that shield everything from cross-contamination: chairs to light fixtures, x-ray units to suction hoses.

We also test our steam and chemical vapor autoclaving and disinfection techniques by independent labs on a regular basis.

Sure, it’s a lot of work. But our patients deserve it, and we’re proud to insist on the highest standards. We’d be happy to take you on the “Grand Tour” and explain our infection control system in more detail, so feel free to ask after your next appointment.

We have a firm belief: all the best dentistry in the world isn’t worth much unless it contributes to your overall health. Here, your safety is our first priority!
